Water Details & Access
We have 36 pegs around the lake, & a number of 3m-wide platforms for disabled anglers.
The lake is well stocked with a variety of species.
There are three car parks for members to use around the lake, one on the north side, and one at each of the southern and northern most points of the lake. Members can obtain a key to gain entry with their car to the country park for a refundable deposit of £20 per key. Access is via the gate off Colliers Way. Please ensure that every gate you pass through is shut behind you on your way to and from the lake, and locks are replaced exactly as found.

Below is the Notts County Council Traffic Management Plan that members need to be aware of. The Council risk assessment requires members to:
Use dipped headlights at all times (not hazard lights)
Observe a safe site speed limit of 5mph
Give way to any other site users - pedestrians cyclists and others.
Employ the safe stop procedure, (parking brake on, switch off the engine and if getting out of the vehicle remove the keys from the ignition).
Members are required to park their cars in one of the three car parks by the lake; members displaying blue badges are permitted to park on the grassed areas near the access gates provided ground conditions permit.
